I'd go with a Leiarius marmoratus rather than L. pictus. L. marmoratus get a bit bigger and have a more appealing body shape, imo (L. marmoratus may be a bit too big for an 8x2 footprint though, I'm not sure).

Both Leirius pictus and Leiarius marmoratus are from South America.

Arent L. marmoratus a little less active though? Thats why I really like L. pictus, they are pretty active!
