u should be fine without a chiller you are not running metal halide lights. if the light u have is incandescant than that is not good enough. the gobies in that environment should be fine with a broader range of peramiters they are not coral reef fish.

ok this tank wont work,
not bucause of temp issues, or light, or stocking but beceause of law issues
, i run the same risk as owning an asian arrow, or a sting ray in cali but with much bigger fines

so so far my failed tank ideas include a Dark Tank( cuz i cant travel round the world looking for exoctic cave species) , a Califoria Native Tank ( legal boundries and barriers) ....
WTF can i do with this 10 gallon that would be eye catching, unique, and not cost me tons of money

I diagree......a chiller would be nice to havebut if you keep your room at around 70 degrees liek i do...My nano tanks do awsome. Good tip about adding fresh not salt water. You want that evaporation. The gobies might be kinda hard to keep. Dependingon what kind you comeacross. Im not to familiar with sand gobies.
ok so i did it...... i said fruck the law and lets do it! added the sand and harbor water today, also caught a little goby to put in, those little buggers are fast.
so i have to leave in 10 days for a month and have to leave the tank in not so fish savy hands so im putting the goby back tomarrow, just wanted to get some ammonia in the tank to start cycling......
it probably wont work but im gonna try anyways.
