but not for life 300 is ok for life

Super reds get big, you could keep one in a 72in long 30in deep for life but 90in 36in would be better. Forget about gallons think footprint.

Exactly. The volume is not what you need to be giving when recommending a tank for an arowana, need to give dimensions.

thank for the advice but i am just going to get 1 super red at the time wondering if 180 gallon is enough?

about the bottom dweller maybe i will go for bichirs

the tank should it have deco i mean like plant ?

thank for all your reply really helpful

I think the things that you see are only silver arowanas that have red coloration. And if it is really a super red I suggest you not to get it because of the very expensive price you should get a silver or a green first.
