Get your DAD to go to the fish shop with you and let him get excited and make him think it's all his idea to get some! Let him know how much you know about the fish and that will make him proud that you are his son. Then play up the importance of being a monster fish keeper and appeal to his ego, manhood, and mocho-ism.
AS A DAD I KNOW THIS WORKS. My two girls use it on me all the time.

I know!! But i still need to convince my dad!! i know you guys tell me to just tell him.. but i dont think that'll be enough. i need more!! ha ha got any more ideas?!?!?!?
