try spinner bait's (other then bass type) even spoon bait's work well also , the time of year is important , august is spawning season for these type of fish ... your best fishing is around this time and don't forget big fish feed at nite!!

Spillages were at a minimum last night much to my wifes dismay.
We went Bass fishing but any bass we caught were too big for the tank

Well all in all it wasn't a total bust we got to throw the lines in a couple times still had a couple beer enjoyed a nice afternoon while it lasted.

Just not the best . Yesterdays trip was better.
Looks like a Morone americana (White Perch), they can get to almost 20" but most are caught at a foot or less. Treat like other cool water perch. This pick is of some smaller ones (by Gary Mezaros)
