yea, i dont ussually buy my natives for this tank, but considering that the only horn sharks ive ever caught were over 3lbs, i figured the chance to snag up this little fella was well worthe the cash :)

hahaha looks like a little port jackson, i love diving with these blokes!:headbang2does anyone no the difference between the horn shark and the port jackson shark or are they the same!

they are classified as seperate species. same genus tho. horn sharks live on the west coast of north america whereas port jacksons occur in your neck of the woods fishhunter.

port jacksons also tend to have a lighter color and grow significantly larger if i am correct.

Also Port Jacksons don't have the little spots all over them.

To me there is a clear visual difference.

yup. ive seen the port jacksons around the two are clearly identifyable :P

i was just to lazy to google pics haha.

haha, i'm so bored, nothing better to do :)

Sharks from this genus are awesome looking. The only better "aquarium" sharks IMO are wobbygongs.
