maybe, but i can't undestand how, for everything is perfect... ph is a bit low, it was at 6.4, but that whouldn't kill it, otherwise everything is perfect!

i don't get it and i have to put medicine in the tank... a few months ago i had a ray with a parasite, i added bactopur from sera, and it killed the ray, so i allways keep the tank in tip top condittion, as i'm sure most of you guys know... and never haver any sickness what so ever...

Sorry to hear, feel your pain...How do you check for parasites and whats best to treat them.... got me worried I dont need any sudden deaths..

basicly just look at your fish a lot see how it swims, looks and craps...

best way is not having them at all... i guess

Use prazi-pro parasite remover it's safe for stingrays, I treat the rays once with it and then 1 week later treat them once more to make sure there clean.

that whould be nice, but hikari doesn't exist here in portugal... any other good one that isn't from an inexistant brand?

I am so sorry for your loss.. i have never lost a fish out of the blue like that so i am scared of that possibility... you hate to see them suffer and linger but to look at your tank and see a healthy happy fish dead is the unthinkable.. i always need answers.. sorry again

trust me, it was the healthyest of rays, happy, eatting all the time, bothering the other rays, the biggest and the fattest of all my rays, plus she was growing a lot faster than all the others... i really can't explain

i can only tell you it devastated me

any other ray, i could have said , well it happends, but this one was too strong and healthy... it was the dominating ray and it was a female
