What are you actual water readings? I know you say its "good," but that many fish shouldn't be dieing like you are making it sound unless there is something seriously wrong.

Before adding more fish i would find out why all the fish you added died, their has to be a reason. Are you adding water conditoner?

loiselle, or freddy what are these fish i can find them online. i really like the red jag. could i have some info on them. i know why the EBJD died but i can figure out why the bichir died. i do weekly water changes. i dont add anything to the water and the only thing wrong with my water is that the nitrate is .20 and the ph is 7.6.

But what about your Nitrites or Ammonia? They are much more poisonous and important to check than pH and Nitrates.

you should add water conditioner when adding water. takes the chloramines etc out (spelling?)
