I had a 23" jardini and it ate from my hands all the time: It liked to play games. Every moring I turned the aquarium lights on it jumped up and bit the middle of my forearm, I got timed lighting shortly after.LOL

I have finally got my smaller 13" arows and 12" gar to feed from my hand. Well, I completely understand where you are coming from. I now have four small teeth marks in my midle finger from my over excited gar biting my middle finger instead of what was between my index and thumb: its peice of shrimp. And my larger arows have grabbed my hands on several occasions and scares the hell out of me, especially when you are not expecting it.
