after several failed rope fish attempts i picked up this tiny little guy from the lfs seem him there for about a week ago ask the guy to hold him for me about maybe 5-6 in most active rope fish ive seen got him home today so far so good :)

good luck have they been dieing ? i've found ropes to be pretty eazy to keep
 
you should ask yourself what you've done wrong before and learn from your mistakes :)
 
ya sadly im now 3 down :( first one id admitt i was new to the hobby may have been over my experience lvl at the time eating as always been my issue. i cant for the life of my get them to eat i found this guy hes so tiny like i said before very active hes in my tropical tank for now but he already eating he ate a few tiny tubefex worms this mourning

its a start !!!!! :) :) :)
 
I have had my share of Rope Fish problems through the years for 18 yrs never a problem kept them for 10, 15 years staight then the lat 3 years I buy some they die no reason water fine they are eating species tank tem. then the last year I bought 4 live and kicking not a problem . so hang in there.
 
ive tried close toevery thing brine shrimp blood worms tub worms pellets flakes krill everything frozen tho really hard to get live in my area
