Sometimes this is exactly what is needed. In high school I wasn't the most popular guy but was the kind of person who was friends with everyone and accepted everyone for who they were. I mean lets face it I'm just a fish geek . The best thing to do is to become friends with the less fortunate even if it makes you look bad. I've only been out of high school for a year and half and I don't look back and remember what I wore or my popularity, I remember the friends I made and the people I helped and it will always be that way. Friends can last a lifetime and you could even change someone's life by being their friend. You never know.

i was with a bad crowd at school too. didn't bully anyone but been in some fights.

violence is not the solution. I'd say record them with your cell or something. and when a supervisor does nothing about it, go to his/her boss

My principle told me i am voilent...and not to sound disrespectul, but i laughed at her. Last year i would write her these emails becuase i was so fed up with what was going. You will walk down the hallways and kids will stand there and throw water bottles, bottle caps, paper, and whatever they can find at these little kids that walk by. I walk by and tell them that throwing stuff at kids like that doesnt make them tough or anything like that. Well in these emails to my principle i tell her what is going on, and i DONT mention names, but she is naive and doesnt beleive me lol. She denies that kids do lines of coke in the bathroom, and that we have a problem with pills. She doesnt beleive much i tell her but always says "we have plans in action to solve these problems. Last year i told her about these kids who threaten to stab everyone and kill everyone. She told me that they are going through a "phase". So the kid comes up to me and says he is going to stab me and i laugh at him and say go right ahead. Me and my friends are HIGHLY respected in the school and even if something did happen between us and those kids, it would be settled in a second.
I tell my principle all of this stuff and say im doing it for the hopless kids in our school. I tell her that these kids getting picked on may have a smile on their face, but they are probaly hiding their identity. Going to school is probaly the worst feeling for these kids with having to deal with this stuff all the time. And you know what? a kid from my school hung himself 4 days ago....And you know what else? The kid that threatened me and many others is sitting in jail and is getting charged with 2 counts of attempted murder and a bunch of other charges for stabbing a kid 2 weeks ago.

But apparently this is all a "phase" and everything is going to be fine. I straight up told her that i will be taking care of problems in the school and looking out for kids. Ive already told a group of 10 kids that if i see them do anything to these two younger kids walking down the hall, then they can come see my group of friends and try to mess with us. Thank god it is my last year and i wont have to put up with this crap anymore. All i try to do is make a change for the better, but apparntly there is no change needed.
I asked her why the vietnam war was ended? and she said idk and i told her because the violence was being shown every evening on the news and people actually saw what was going on, and i told her if needed, i will do the same thing right now. People need to realize the harsh realities of what goes on.

Im sorry to rant about this but it makes me feel better i guess lol...this was extremely hard to write without cursing

Do you, and dont worry about everybody else, unless somebodys life is in danger. If people cant stick up for themselves, then society will piss all over them. Welcome to the real world. Ive seen about 6 overdoses in my school, several suicides, monthly bomb threats, daily fights, highschool is war. Dont get involved or your going to piss off the wrong psycho. It puts the lotion on its skin.

High school is rough but its part of shaping kids into adults. Your faced with these decisions. I have been picked on as a freshman as every other freshman before and after me. The thing it did for me is let me realize not to waste my time fighting and worrying about other people. To be honest what your describing is not that rare, fights were a daily event in my middle school. High school was actually not that bad for me after that. I mean once you have been through that kind of system, bullys don't scare you, they are just weak minded people. I had no marks on my record, I was a big kid and took no **** from any bully. But I would be damned before I let some loser make me lose my temper and ruin my academic career. The people that don't stick up from themselves get no help from you sticking up for them. What are they going to do the next time they need to defend themselves, wait for another stranger to stand in for them?

If I could stop alot of suicides throughout history I would. Its taken some of the best. Stress can be 1 hell of a depressant. My best friend for 10 years lost his life driving drunk, Another good buddy blew his head off over a female. Do I feel responsibe, No. Do I think its a tragedy, yes. Some people cant cope with life and thats beyond what I can do, But I would never cause or advice somebody take their own life. Then again, Ive never been the type to not face problems and obstacles in my life head on. Suicide is for cowards.
