also is his flower nere the kok also sposed to be tear shaped cuz it dont look round if its not sposed to be then you have a awesome lil FH there with different fetures

this guy's head when young also looks like a trimac. that means his kok will be hard however... but he is not similar to the trimac in that he is a monsterkok breed... he has grown quite a head since then but it will always be hard... that means he got the kok gene more from the trimac/lyonsi complex but in order to be large the breed was sported... as timacs and lyonsi do not have such a large head in the wild.
Here is an example of flowerhorn which lend the head more to trimac/lyonsi instead of midas
however you will never see a trimac with a head larger than these fish... and only the most OG trimacs get big heads.

my fh's head in the picture looks like the head of a much older trimac. He is only about 2 in in the pic
also... heres some pics to show the red. trimac and lyonsi both have pink/reddish throats, but heres some pics to show where the red markings come from in most red zz flowerhorns (red dragons)
