Any of the endangered/threatend apex predators will have a HUGE impact on the world. Keystone species play such an important role in keeping things in check.
Just read an article yesterday about lower level fish population explosions due to the decline of predators.

The paper has to be on why we need to save the animal, thus what negative effects does the animal going extinct have on human societies. For example if salmon was endangered and went extinct, fisherman would lose money, and the fish markets would lose money, and this would have a negative impact on our economy.

Human's impact the animals and the animals impact us as well. Our impacts is what causing the animals to become endangered. Question is what animal that is endangered and thus its dwindling numbers having a negative impact on human society?

For example if salmon was endangered and went extinct, fisherman would lose money, and the fish markets would lose money, and this would have a negative impact on our economy. So the endangered and small numbers of the salmons would cause a negative imapct on the economy. See what I'm trying to say?

Polar bears are cute...but what negative impacts does them being endangered have on human society?

Anyone have any negative impacts by the gray wolf being endangered? So far only one I can think of is overpopulation of deers and other preys, thus causing grazing grounds for cattle to get less.

overgrazing alone can have a big impact as it causes soil erosion, habitat destruction and pollution issues, which ultimatley effects humans.

Anywho bee's is a really good to do and they do have a huge impact.

As stated any keystone species can cause major issues that will eventually effect humans. Loss of Ocean predators such as Sharks is an example. Loss of otters in certian areas can also cause issues.

Good luck on writing your paper.

Once again dramaticly impacts the environment, but just don't see how they impact human society.

let me clear it up a little bit, lets say all the sharks go for example, and then there is a surplus of other predators going after the fish we normally eat... that could affect how much food we have on the planet due to one species wiping out others till there is not enough food for us?
