The problem with the hobby are these old rusty mentalities about keeping things basic and unchanged, regecting progress and wanting to keep the hobby in the dark. It's such a shame that taking an existing species and putting together a breeding program to produce better stronger offspring with specific traits and characteristics that are generally considered more desirable is actually frowned upon and attacked so much on this site and elsewhere by these closed minded so-called lords of fish keeping. I laugh every time one pops up with the same bs.
Instead of applauding someone for actually taking the time and effort out of their life to put in the hard work and create something special and naming it something different or unique, people would rather hate and choose stupidity and ignorance as a reason to oppose and argue against it. Unbelievable.
