Anybody here into import drag racing?

Into Imports and D1 but not too much into Drag. Going straight on a quarter mile doesn't really do it for me.

This was my old bosses car it won nearly all the shout out and drag races it entered a few years back it the fastest thing I have ever been in it even out accelerated my motor bike. It’s off the road at the moment but he has promised my 11 year old son a blast out in it when it is back on the road.

IMO, FWD drag racing is silly. I'm so glad that drifting and rallying have gotten import folks to realize that RWD or AWD is where it's at.

AWD on a twisty road... or better yet, a twisty dirt / gravel road is where its at. Drag racing is ALWAYS silly unless its RWD cars with bigass engines (american muscle)

Import racing isn't just about FWD. Plenty of imports that are FR or AWD.

The drift scene has been happening here for so long it's become a bit less interesting at the moment. Do understand however, drag is not everybody's cup of tea.

I agree, twisty dirt gravel roads with AWD is awesome, i'm glad they added Rally to the X games, Havent been able to watch it since i got rid of cable, but now i can see it at least once a year.

I miss my GSX (it's no EVO, but better than the explorer i have now)
