Hey even thought they will get eaten, I feed my feeder goldfish that are in my turtle tank..

the problem is when I feed them pellets/flakes, all the topwater guppys take it away and don't leave any for the goldfish and rosies on the bottom. I am afraid that they will starve.. What can I do?

Hold flakes underwater and they will sink, that or buy sinking pellets. Goldfish prefer to feed off the bottom anyway.

thanks TLKmDN & sandtiger.

I got some sinking ones but the goldfish seem to just ignore food..
a feel kinda bad since the tiny orange/black one is like all skinny and tired up.. It kinda swims half-dead and is always in the cave.

Well I'm guessing they'll eat someday..

Make sure that in addition to your pellets, you feed some form of roughage, and veggies. I use FD gammarus for the roughage and protein, and peas or cukes for veggies. I've gotten a one inch fish to hit 3 inches in a month and a half by doing this.

Like everyone else said, frequent water changes, and HEAVY filtration. If you can go double, you'll be good. Besides, goldies LOVE to play in the current from the filter!!
