from what i hear alot of places discontinued the 3m colorquartz sand. but there are some still available just not 3m but similar quality.

im using aragonites for my tank i think its the closest to the 3m fine grade. its just pain in the ass washing the sand.

I always try calling a company before i do business with them,i called and emailed zoo sand before i was going to order and never got a response,so i never ordered,I posted that info in a thread that asked about them a while back,and alot of folks said the same thing (no response to calls or emails) Keep the word out on this guy on as many forums as you can.

I don't know why you guys are saying what you are and I can only question the motives but be that as it may, I've had fish for almost 2 decades now currently in 3 tanks (60g, 110g, 250g) and have been buying my substrate from a guy named Richard at ZooSand.com for probably 3 or 4 years now. Even met in person numerous occasions! Not a single time did I even have 1 problem whatsoever with whatever I've needed.

I think you must be wrong or misled somehow because one of you even said he was a ripoff but I paid $40 for 115 pounds of aragonite. I dont know where you shop but thats cheap. your more than welcome to email me at mabbrams@aol.com but I just think its wrong to mislead people or who knows. Each time, like I said, Zoosand.com and Richard have ALWAYS given me an awesome price on everything, they're an A+ in my book and im gonna get him to reply to this.

Why would we email you about it? ^ :confused:

Are you him? Just say so... claiming people have motives makes absolutely no sense. We want substrate, we order substrate. We don't spread lies about good substrate dealers.

:confused::ROFL:

I've always gotten mine through N.T. Ruddock...... I think I bought all of what they had left of T-Grade black though....

He's local? We should all pay him a visit and shove some sand up his ass!

I would drive cross country to help out with that confrontation:headbang2
