IMPORTANT POND QUESTION!!!

Ya I know...It doesnt seem to be affecting my fish though, but I keep telling my dad we need to do something about it and he keeps procrastinating...
Out of curiosity, do ya'll suggest not vacuuming the gravel in your tanks too?!
The garbage on the bottom of the pond is decaying and causing every problem everyone screams about in their tanks. It's just that the pond has a good air/gas exchange rate outside and your only looking down on it (not thru it). If your pond is 2ft deep and doesn't have good circulation the water is going to stratify, cause the garbage to almost stop the decay process, go fully anerobic causing pain/death/destruction, fish doing the permanent backstroke and a very icky smell ! ( it's a biological time bomb and when it goes, everything could be dead by morning )
Besides if you clean it, people won't say ' whats that junk on the bottm ? '
P.S. I keep mine clean and then LIE about how little time it takes to maintain.

Some ponds are never cleaned and the ponds and its occupants survive very well. A high fish densities will push the environmental limits of your ponds biofilter. The silt is leaves blowing into the pond, the die-back of vegetative pond plants as well as fish wastes YUM! wastes in the bottom of the pond which may turn anaerobic if sufficient oxygen is not available, creating a breeding ground for harmful bacteria, or which may decompose, releasing ammonia and other dangerous chemicals. In the winter if your pond ices over it can trap the gas under the ice.(well in the UK)Cleaning the pond in the spring may help reduce diseases and parasites that often occur as the pond and its biology warms up for the summer would you leave years of S&%t in your tank? I dont clean my pond 100% but every year clean it out and put some salt in it.

who doesnt vacumn out their tanks?? lol...it doesnt seem to be affecting any of my fish at all
how would you got about cleaning it out..would you just use a big net or something...??
