Importing fish into Australia

The following prices are in Australian dollars and are current retail prices (excluding people who try to make a killing on the rare fish).

Oscars at that size are about $40 each and Jags $50 but harder to find.
You will have to try to find clown knives from private sellers at that size. They can be found at 6-8 inches for $250 each. All aros are available:
Jar/Lei $70-140 depending on time of year
Silver $500-550
Green $600-800
Black ?
RTG $3500
Red varies but looking at $4000+

These are prices in Brisbane, I know where you can buy all these at these prices so if you need help when you move over let me know.
 
And as far as diving goes, a few years ago I would have said go to Cairns or Townsville but with the sinking of HMAS Brisbane I would now say Brisbane. It is the single most popular diving destination in Australia at the moment.

500 for a silver, 600 for green, 5,500 for RTG - that is just wrong lol

should be more like 20 for silver, 80 for green, 650 for RTG ... <sigh> ... o wonder what is the reason for such prices
