Impossible Fish Tank - Oita Marine Center

I see the grates now....I agree you could get in but the water you displace would run out everywhere....messy.
Notice the grates are at same level as feeding cups/holes.
The air comes in contact with water at the grates and cups.
Is contact enough what about agitation ?
I thought you had to agitate water surface to intoduce air into water ?
What about water flow ? wouldn't it become stagnant ?
Has to be more than meets the eye here.
Just my 2 cents.
 
i'm sure they've got submersible jets and such, but honestly with a tank that overstocked, i don't think you'll have a problem with water movement.
 
ok heres whats not getting seen there has to be more under all of it to keep the water moving theres must be a filter system under the tank, thats were it gets agitated like a swimming pool kind of. as far as the vacume is concerned i think its fluid dynamics as long as the water is moving right it will keep the water lvl at the right point in the feeding cups. a vacume cant exist in an non air free enverment. a vacum removes all air the tank has open ports not plossabal
