Yes that's right, I made an impulse purchase today. It happens to the best of us.

A pet store near me is going out of business. I was suppose to be selling the owners my leopard gecko babies but as they are a couple grand in the hole, that didn't happen. So everything in the store is 30-50% off. I was in there picking up a few things and I came across their pixie frogs. I've always been fascinated with them and the girl running the store said if I wanted one I could have it. So needless to say I excepted the offer. It's about the size of a silver dollar. I have a spare 10 gallon tank to keep it in and I bought a brick of Zoomed Eco Earth for a substrate. Is this a good choice of substrate? Please let me know if ASAP pixie owners. Thanks!

nice big spender! ha ha ha ha ha ya that works just moisten it everyday

use calci sand,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:grinno:jk to you newbs, never do that

What? I love free, free is good! And hey you think that's bad she was trying to give me baby RES, Florida Snappers and Florida Softshells! I actually might go back and pick up a pair of Western Painted Turtles!

Thanks for the "ok" on the eco earth.

I use that eco stuff for most of my reptiles/ bugs. Works great the stuff is awesome.
By the way it made my turtle tank get all messed up when my containment leaked. haha I had to basically take everything out of the tank i build just to clean it.
