Thanks for all your comments. I can't wait until he grows a couple inches. He's been coloring up quite nicely since I put him in the tank. He's such a neon green and his fins are so irradescent. I'll definitely keep you guys updated and try to get more pictures. That might be hard since he's such a little fish in such a big tank.
The little guy didn't cost me anything. I had a gift certificate for $25 and they were selling him for $15. I still have some money left over. For all you people in Connecticut, they had another one in the tank. I don't know if it's still there, but It was also really good looking.Tango374;857381; said:
what have you tried giving him so far? when i first got mine he wouldnt take any pellets/flakes, just bloodworms.

As far as feeding...my Gt was very picky and I started cutting up earthwodms for him. He chubbed up in a couple weeks
Get the little worms called red worms or panfish worms. I get em at wal mart and cut them 2 or 3 times. Once he gets a taste he'll love em. After he's eating good for a few weeks try Krill. These folks on here feed krill and I started because they claimed the colors improved. They were right (of course). That fish will be unbelievable when it's bigger.
