That'd probably work out nicely. plus you'd have options for another med sized cichlid in there IMO. Did you have another tank in mind already? What size?

Js77 who commented with pics put that nice pair in a 55 so I think it'd be good. (those were very nice sals too !)

i dont think that you would need a 55 for one salvini,by itself,probly a 30 or 40 gallon

I agree I'd say 30 gallons is enough for one that stays on the 6 inch mark anything bigger a 40 gallon is your best bet.
