Impulse buy.. what do i have.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
$10 bucks.....sounds like a good deal to me.They get BIG, 12 inches in a year,24 in 2 and from there they start to bulk up and grow maybe an inch a month.....about 3 foot in captivity.

hes in quarintine in a 29 gal (is that ok? its the only empty established tank i had..)
Then will move into a 150 in june..
(can move into a 65 before that if he grows fast)

Then in august ill have my 240?? up and running for him.. that should be good for life right?

Yes it is definitely a silver, but the bigger issue here is that your lfs can't tell the difference between an Arowana and a leaf fish. You should either find a new lfs, or buy up all their expensive stock. See if they have Azul Platys or Widebar feeders. LOL

29 gallon is PERFECT....he's 1 and a half inches right? TOO big is not to good for the little dude right now.......when he starts to get bigger 4-5 inches maybe even 6 inches a 55 or bigger would be fine.

well i think they ordered leaf fish.. and one of the younger employees read the list.. and that was the only fish left or something. and didnt know and labeled it leaf fish,
