Great! He is not fat btw, this is his constitution or built... But seriously, oh boy, the prey that they can swallow. They are similar to gulpers - swimming mouths - not as dramatic but way bigger.

lol ya i have been studying them on and off lol im really happy everything in that tank is double his size. no hybrid lunch lol and it seams he is really slow as well kind of like a fat kid eating veggies lol. and thay hit the nail on the head with the name he doesn't ever move

They are efficient ambush predators, so no need to move fast, just reposition. The way they use their pelvic fins makes it look often that they are waking rather than swimming.

The name jelly / jello I think refers to their skin's a bit translucent looks as well as the feel - when you touch them, they are surprisingly soft, the flesh gives in like jelly.
