In my stupidity, I killed my favorite fish

This happened to me too.. Got home and my Senegal Bichir was stuck head first in the intake of my powerhead, horrible way to die!

I almost lost one of my African Dwarf Frogs due to my filter intake. Had to shut off the filter because the frog's backside was sucked up against the intake diffuser. At full flow, my Fluval 306 pulls a LOT of water. I created an outer basket around the intake with some netting and a couple of pringles can lids. Now the frogs hang out on top of it like it's special frog couch...

Something about the phrase "special frog couch" made me laugh, hard, out loud in the middle of my office at work. Thank you.

Lol I did the same thing with my glo fish with the first fish tank I ever had. I cleaned the tank and some poop was left over so I took the cover off. We'll that was 6 years ago so whatever
