Synodontis Eupterus are really attractive with their large, feathered fin and spots. They are also really active and are interesting to watch swim upside down. I have an 8 inch one, and it is fairly aggressive, It has gotten along with large cichlids such as oscars and parachromis, so it might be able to handle a red devil.

it doesn't bother me if the cat is active or not as long as it can handle life with a midas
