Actually it wasn;t all that hot :(

I Am confirming what is believed to be the true means of death later today:( It looks more like he was poisoned:(

He was a very intelligent pup. He was even able to open my front freakin door to get out . This of course landed him and I in trouble a month ago.. And we have been working on getting him in tune with not leaving the yard. Still the last month he only left a few times. And it was in tricking me that he was able to get past the side walk.

I let him out yesterday morning to use the restroom.. He did his usual. And came in. Then I woke up for our day in court. And took him out. I fed the fish int he shed and he was headed around the corner.. I went after him.. I rounded the corner to an empty street... I asked a neighbor that he usually hung with until the last month and she said he just kept goin.. That is when He just vanished... I had to get to court. And when I came back he was home..

Then he was takin out back and I left with the kids for an hour and a half. When I came home I noticed his cable was slack. that's when I go the sinking feeling. Then I seen him. And he was STIFF. I went out and I had no reason at first to believe anything other than in the hour and a half that I was gone.. he had had a stroke.

The more time that passed the more I thought and the more I went back to a previous dog I had when I was younger. And that's when I called my wife and she had been thinking the same thing:( I will be going to the vet today so I know what happened.

But here I sit just came home from work and my door greeter is not here to greet me. I have owned a few dogs of which a couple have lived out til arthritis took them down one reaching almost 17 years A Pit we had all growing up. My dad had picked her up about 5 years before he met us.and I was around 15 when she was put down.

Any way. I have seen poisoned dogs but never heat stroke.. And As I thought every one around here liked Diesel That was a big part in my initial conclusion. But we have had some weird stuff going on the past week .. So Will update later.

I just want my Friend back:(

That sucks man, my uncles rottweiler died from heat stroke after his wife forgot to get him out of the car 30 minutes later.:(

Sorry for your loss. I hope for the sake of humanity it was a medical condition/not poisioning. But I know that still doesn't help the loss.

Sorry for your loss
