I want y'all's opinion on the inTank llc media basket for AQ. As well as why you think it works or doesn't work as well as price point and I it really worth it?

One is for a Aquaclear 110

If you are referring to the one for the Aquaclear filter I was going to purchase one for my 110 but never got around to it. I personally would say anytime you can modify a filter to add more media imo yes its worth it.

I just don't see how it's beneficial from my understanding Aquaclear pull water in through the intake and froce water down under the basket routing the water up and out. Water filling the intake area is designed as a relief so it doesn't overflow in a event of a clog

I personally would trust that engineers for the basket proved it worked before placing it on the market. Have you checked online for any reviews.

Yes I have all basically showing water bypassing the basket and back out of the intake tube chamber
red line represents actual flow of water from what I can gather.

Water follows the path of least resistance..... This leaves vast amount of water bypassing the filtration with the exception of mechanical media.

Hopefully some other members will respond with their analysis of the product but for myself I think it would be worth it because I honestly always customize my hob filters lol.
