I have look at it before and have thought about purchasing this product till I saw some video reviews. I also customize often, with Aquaclears large chamber it's easy to just shove whatever you like in..... One of the main reasons I love the filter. Also this accessorie run just as much if not more then the filter it's self.

That's the problem with this accessory, for the price just get another ACx. They are such good filters that it's not needed to improve them. Other than hiding heaters what's the point? If you're spending this amount of money for essentially turning an ACx into a sump, drill the tank and use an actual sump.
I actually don't go do too much to them but add floss and extra biomax to the AC's and I do have a sump on my 180 which is in the basement just don't want any sumps or canister filter's on the second floor.
Seem to me like this basket would just be taking up space in the filter where you could otherwise have more media. Unless I'm missing something, seems gimmicky to me. I just stuff as much floss in my AC as will fit.
