thanks, no i used a drill press as i have access to my G/F's uncles woodwork shop.
i also used his planer thinknesser too to tidy up the edges but i wanted it too be perfect.

Great progress, you've done yourself proud on this one. Looking forward to seeing how it develops over the next few days. Just putting the finishing touches to my new tower stand (for 3 smaller tanks - 30"wide max) which will go in my kitchen. I'll post the pics and how to soon. It's taken me weeks 'cos I've had so little spare time (and gloss paint takes ages to dry!) so I totally appreciate the speed with which you've done this. Good job man!
