damn dude... You def did your best and praise you for it. Mom should come through. We all have our fingers crossed. As for the force feeding... I don't think its a good idea. Everytime you do it you disrupt her and stress er and he cycle starts again. She doesn't look too skinny or unhealthy. She just needs time to adjust from everything and a new home. If she starts getting more comfortable and you grab her and feed her it probably just resets her comfort level and she will always be timid. Personally, and this is just my .02, you have a large healthy established animal. Give it some time even if that means a week or two before you force feed again and try and keep live blackworms or nightcralwers etc in there and easy for her to get to. I think this would be better but yourself or others may say im wrong. If this was a pup I would feel differently but tha ray can live off the fat in its tail for at least a month before nutrition will be an "extreme" problem. Good Luck
