indian catfish

has any seen the documentry on the maneating goonch catfish or the red devil catfish not to be mistaken with the red tail catfish.
this fish only got to monster size cos it was eat human flesh that was thrown into river after funeral pryers at the side of the river were finshed.
now when i say that this fish was big i mean big..3 meters in length and at least 300lbs and a mouth that ws at least 50cms in width.
it lived in a 4-5 kms stretch of river with depths of 10 meters.
two of the camera men went to the river and they found 6 small ones only 6 foot and 162lbs. bloody crazy people..

saw it yesterday, it was ok but only like half the programme was on the goonch the rest of it was just going through else could of done it and you didnt see that much of the goonch itself.

It wasnt called the red devil catfish it was the giant devil catfish LOL. It was brown not red.

I felt that it was dumbed down a little for none fishkeeper audiences

we gotta write a letter to those morons
they have termed this shy and clumsy fish as man eating
and people might just as well start blowing dyanmites in the river to eradicate the supposedly man eating catfish

You know what's funny though. Everything you read says that it's the Tapah that eats dead people in India, but it's somehow managed to become the legend of the Goonch in this show! lol, sorry just thought it was funny.
