I'm kinda worried about the agression going on in my tank with my baby Indo Dats. They consantly nip at one another. Will this past or is it better to get rid of some of them? I have 6 1.5"-2" Dats in a 75g.

If you get rid of some, the agression problem will get worse. If anything, get more. Also try to create more hiding places, so each one can have a territory to claim. The agression should go down as the pecking order becomes established.

I completely agree. I had 3 baby indos, with one being much larger than the other two. He ended up killing both both of them :( .

Well...my tank has 3 pretty good hiding spots so if I get rid of 3, do you think that it'll be ok for the other 3?

orr you could have ore hiding places but 75 bretty big for 6 of those small dats i currently 5 in a 100 about ur size and i do see the occasinall niping bu nothing else hope it turns out well for ya

minimizing the numbers will increase aggression. 3 would be worse then 6.

get more cover

Give us a full tank picture.

This way we'll all be on the same page as to what you mean by "hidding spots". I've got 13 1.5-2.5 inchers in a 38gallon hex with plants all around the edge & 4-5 pvc elbows & several other "hidding places" and all fins are intact and acting fine.

Here a pic of the tank. I have 2 pieces of driftwood on each sid eo fthe tank and some rocks and plants in the center that they like to hide in as well as the driftwoods.
