Indo Agression

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I dont have much experince with a community of small datnoids but It may be because there is alot of open room and not much to hide IN. They can go behind stuff sure but they may need some cover. SOmething to go in or underneath. You can go with more plants also. The less they see of each other the less they will go after each other

also you can buy some more. Dats grow slow so you can house a few more in there for a while, which will hopefully spread out aggression a bit. Then when they get larger they be more use to each other and you can upgrade your tank or sell some to fellow MFKers

they are fighting for the same hideing place no hideing places more of the tigers and you should be ok

but if anyone who keeps a tiger com thinks it going to be peaceful think again unless you pack them in like malawis

My tank looks peaceful in the pics but sometimes its like world war 3 in the tank

im very luck my NGT is like the police to much fighting and he sorts it out

i used to think the NGT was causeing the problems so i removed him after 2hrs all hell broke out as they tryed to sort out a new alpha

the NGT is fine on his own not aggressive at all but he wont take any crap form other tigers even if they are bigger

you need to let them fight it out once they have sorted out whos boss then it will carm down

Mine kept fighting until all of them had washed out color and looked crap. I couldn't take it anymore and got rid of them. Now they(1.5" indos) are in a 200 and still chase eachother.:screwy:

Thanks for the advice guys! I really appreciate it!

It looks like a pretty nice set up. XD add more hiding places, like small flower pots.

if you add more hideing places you will never see them and they will turn black to blend in to the pot

i also find that tigers turn black or washed out if you have bogwood in the tank

my NGT keeps all off my tigers at one end like sheep and the NGT is the sheep dog he will only let one tiger out at a time as they fight when thier is more than one out
