i have three indo datnoids one is 5 inches, 3 inches in my tank for two weeks, the other one is like one week. they always look so fighten and then turn the body colour to all black and hiding, but they all start eating the 3 inches omaga1 forzen shrimp only the 5 inches start to eat massivore but only a lil and the other one eat massivore too and it is about 8 inches. why they always turn black? when they gonna turn it back to gold i know it wont be gold as those ST but at least not black lol?

Turning black is known as being unstable, there are quite a few reasons for this happening. Datnoids in general are pretty shy fish and may hide and stay unstable for several weeks and it can last much longer. In my experience the bigger the dat the longer it stays unstable/in hiding when purchased by a new owner. Just give them some time and they'll eventually warm up to you much like cichlids. Until then they'll probably stay unstable, you may get many answers why they do this. Camouflage and comfort seem to be the most common reasons in my opinion. Make sure they have lots of cover so they don't feel exposed and in time they'll realize you=food, most of my dats stabled up nicely when they realized this. Stability may vary from one to another, for instance my first dat had been perfectly stable 100% of the time since day 1 while another 5" IT I got about a month ago was perfectly stable with his last owner and is still dark in my tank but has lightened considerably because he's becoming more comfortable around me and in his new environment. My Dats stay on the dark side. Some do look stable, but they are dark. I keep them in "the dark" meaning I don't turn on the lights. If I do, they tend to become black and/or their bars fade.
NTTs the same IMHO. I have 2 in my tank that have never been stable in over a year. I put 2 more in, one of which is still small and it was and still is "stable".
The biggest NTT i had which died of unspecified bladder, stomach problems, turned the brightest I've ever seen it just before it died. Bright can't equate to happy in that instance because it was going mental in the tank.

I won't say that's wrong but my dats that are fully stable don't seem stressed one bit, they move around more eat just fine, interact with me, like I said I won't say it's wrong but I think I would have noticed if my guys were stressed. T1, peewee do you have further reason for thinking this? I'd like to hear more of your side of this.
