i have done dats with jurunese cats, but that is a topic for a diff section and your own thread...
 
Well, it seems my tank will have to wait. The dats for sale are really beautiful and their size is just right to get started... sadly the shipping is far and the rates are high. If I had a thicker wallet, I'd buy them in a heartbeat. I'll probably end up having to wait for my lfs for these. Too bad most of them don't stock them often.

I was afraid of the ornate. Ornate bichirs can do death rolls and swallow big fish relative to their size.

most lfs will special order fish for you...just ask them and see if they can get some in for you at a good price and you avoid the shipping mess...
