From my own experience I'd never keep cichlids with Tigers. I've tried with true Parrots, JD's and Blue Acaras. They soon stressed and bullied the Tigers-even bigger ones.

this seems to be my problem too...:nilly::eek::confused: got home today and pulled out 2 more dead dats!!!!!!!!!!plus another i noticed last nite that was already eaten...could be tho because when i pulled the one out last nite it fell to pieces and all the fish was eating them!

don't see the reason why, i have a lot of hiding places like driftwoods, but also i added 8 small bala sharks...don't really see why the indos are dying they were doing better in the 30 gal that i moved them from to the 135 that they're in now...

I mix 3 NTTs, 6 indos, 1 AT, 1 NGT with 5 Frotosas and others but they stay happily
together. They are around 2.5" to 3.5" in.

mine are doing ok now. the bigger dats are getting bigger and are much larger than the cichlids, i also added some bala sharks for dither and movement.

seems the other dats died because they were not eating the pellets. they were used to the blood worms.
