nice 2 Pdats (yeah I said it LOL)... not patchy but i just got 2 for my tank wish I could do the silver too.

what causes it to be patchy, is it a locality, genetic thing or what? is it a trait that is passed through generations?

I do not know how this come about

Maybe is genetic. But compare to those standard dat, this are very much aggressive

I never notice it until I compare the two pic

They are not in the same tank yet as the new patchy and the 2 PB are still small compare to the bigger one from you. Maybe another 3 mths from now
