Indo sold as Thai...

Possibility that your LFS got the shipment of ATs from Thailand. Remember that a lot of LFS considers it a business and not so much as a hobby. They probably don't know.

AT's IMO are very underated dats. They are very outgoing, and yes they are good to bring out the shyer dats. Gotta catch em all :Pikachu:Nice pickup ;)

vanimate >> Extremely underrated. Its very active and has nice shiny scales... If only there had been more threads on ATs I surely would have had it on my to get (catch em all) list instead of accidentally getting one.

Is there a reason why ATs are not as popular compared to other Tigers, other then being not as pretty.

To answer two of your questions, They seem to stop growing at about 12 or thirteen inches. Although the longest I have ever had one was for about five years. Possibly they may get a little bigger. There shape is a little more elongated and they won't get the same mass as a deeper bodied 12 or 13 inch IT or ST.

They are less likely to be shy like some of the other dats. They swim around a lot and are greedy eaters.

janzal3 >> Thanks! Although i think everybody should give ATs a try, mine is very active and fun to watch. No shyness (hiding) and always stable.
