PM'd a member that bought a batch over 100 and he didn't have a single one. Visited Tong's in Fountain Valley because I got word about a batch they brought in but none had the bars I want for both sides. There are like 3 members that had them here in SoCal, and I asked them to give me dibs when they decide to sell but it's going to be a while...FishNCash;3732136; said:any luck bro?

I think I'm going to quit datnoids. It was not meant to be.The general for buying datnoids is look for anything 3" and up. I try to go by 5" so they are more hardy than the smaller ones. But many people have killed a bunch of the baby indos coming in already. If one dat gets a disease, it's easy to spread to the whole batchFishNCash;3733534; said:I got one but I killed it.I think I'm going to quit datnoids. It was not meant to be.

I have dats 2" before and were pretty hardy. This new batch is anywhere from .5" to .75" so it's about the size of nickel and dimes then again they're cheap. If you get a nice three bars and don't want it, let me know.BRYANT;3733551; said:The general for buying datnoids is look for anything 3" and up. What happened to your batch that caused them to all die? I got a text from a friend that works at Tong's in Fountain Valley on Christmas about an expected arrival batch of indos before. A lot of them are nice 3 bars. I didn't know you were looking for some or I would've hit you up about them. Ask Chung too, he said they look like widebars or very nice 3 bars.FishNCash;3733570; said:I have dats 2" before and were pretty hardy. I have a new tank that the bio was not fully seeded. Overfeeding fouled up the water and next day was instant death. Four died and one was swimming like it's going to go so I euthanized it. Tong is a great store with varieties but it's a freaking far drive.BRYANT;3733577; said:What happened to your batch that caused them to all die?
