Indostomus crocodilus

Looks like a freshwater pipefish. I use to have a pair. They're like any other native ambush predator. They're picky eaters till you wean them and they'll choke trying to eat before the other(s) can. Best to keep them alone or in a tank big enough that they'll choose oppossite sides so you can feed them separately. And watch out to not feed them too much!

Your reply shoud not be about I. Crocodilus. What u feed them?

I tried starting them on what the LFS was able to give them. One time I bought them and they only took brine shrimp. I got them on ghost shrimp because I could find them in more locations and try to breed them. One died because it choked on all the shrimp while the other didn't feed. The other caught a disease I didn't figure out fast enough.

Another time I got one at a different LFS and they said it was taking pellets. It didn't eat the pellets at all so I tried a shrimp at the end of the week. I went with shrimp for awhile until it took pellets again.
