Has anyone considered using one of these metal storage racks for aquariums for home use? they state that each shelf holds up to 1500 lbs. Would you trust this shelf to hold a pair of 125 or 150 gallon tanks? I found out about the tanks looking on Lowes (hardware store) online.

yup, i have a Zbeam shelf from HD with 125's on each shelf. mines rated at 7500 total, 2500lbs each shelf they also have heavy duty ones that hold up to 3500lbs on each shelf. best thing is it take less then 2 mins to build it. I also plan to frame it to to make it purdy
