Let me just throw in a bit of information about today's adventure. The tank move was done so that I could get ready to put up the walls in the basement. The left side 55G stand was right in the middle of where the fish room wall is going. I had to get it out of the way in order to frame it up.

I honestly think I need to get the tank stands going first so that I can setup the plumbing and get the "tank wall" into the fish room so I do not have to moveit through doorways.

its about time you kicked all those excuse to the side and got some work done! haha

looks like it is coming along nicely. What else are you planning to do in the basement?

Any of you guys planning on coming up for the Shedd visit next weekend? Would be great if you could, if not I would be down for doing something in Indy before the weather gets lousy again. Looking forward to more updates!

Here's to you JayK!!..... :nutkick:.........:j/k:

I won't be able to make it. I will be at the GP race!:lock:

Feel free to come on down. I'll put you to work in my basement while I go find excuses.

Well, here's the list of things to do so far;

1. Frame the wall around the eniter basement
2. Frame in the Fish Room
3. Do Electrical & plumbing
3. Drywall the whole place
4. Put down flooring
5. Put in the bathroom
6. Put in the drop ceiling
7. Paint the basement
8. Build the 9ft tank rack
9. Finish the 125G
10. Possibly put 1 or 2 tanks under the 125
11. Setup another 55G/30G rack opposite the 9' er
12. Setup the sump
13. Put in the Projector(TV) and surround sound
14. Build the safe into the wall
15. Get the pool table put in.
16. Build a 500G+/- tank for the entertainment side of the basement
17. Setup 120G show tank in the upstairs

As far as I can remember, that is about it for now.

You forgot fireman's pole and walkout basement door!

Terrific, we should have it all done in a few more years...

Of course finish my stand and my fishroom as well. Still need to put up walls before it gets cold...
