inexpensive filter pads

Hi guys. Tried doin a search and can't find what I'm lookin for. What do you use for fliter pads in your system (mech. filteration)? Lookin for something inexpensive.

I use poly fill nu foam which I purchase in large rolls.

I buy the same thing, but I get it on Ebay. It is much, much cheaper.

Not sure about that site, I got it from another site, can't remember which one now, but they where in the states.

I used to run pads from Aquatic Ecosystems. Bought a pressure washer to spray myself in the face with fishpoop for hours on end to clean them too.

I'd highly suggest filter socks and wash them in the washing machine...... Doesn't get any easier then that. Throw away filtration is a waste in my opinion.

I used to wash filter sock in the washing machine....until the ol lady figured it out hahah LOL.....Now I just rinse them with pressure washer

i use the pond jap mat in the 1st compartment of my sump then the pond carbon filter pads in the last compartment changed every 3 weeks size 12x12 price $5
