On one hand they’re uneducated fools but on the other hand there is a chance, a low chance, that they will educate themselves and become proper fish keepers and possibly do something great for the hobby. Instead of crapping on them I hope people try to educate them as they will never learn if they’re just told everything they do is wrong without educating them.

I'll never understand how trigger happy "environmentalists" are the ones that end up getting power in the government. If it were up to me, people like these wouldn't have any effect on or represent the hobby, rather they'd just be treated the same way you'd treat someone dumping asbestos in a drinking reservoir.
