and would like to know about it as much as possible View attachment 145543

i'm not flaming or anything, but you should have done research before you went out and bought fish like that.

but anyways,
1. you will need a tank that is at the bare minimum, 75 gallons.
2. they are predators, and will feed on blood worms at this size, but you can start feeding them krill and other meaty foods.
3. small tankmates will be eaten.
4. they need hiding places. what most people do is put a clear peice of pipe, or the glass from a lantern or whatever. the fish goes in it, and it feels safe, but you can see it. another option is to lean a peice of slate onto the front glass, so the fish hides, but you can still see it perfectly.

also, what tankmates does it have now? cichlids tend to be a bad choice, but there are obviously exceptions.

hmmm i know this sounds stupid but as of now it is sharing the 30g tank with my 6"jardini and 2 5" TSNs but will soon be moving them into the new 180g tank i am working on should be done quite soon its just that the top is taking a long time and yet to decide on the filtration system

Are you serious? Post a pic of this 30g tank. It smells fishy. If you are serious, not only will the bgk fight when bigger, but you have huge animals in a tiny tank.

Your bgk is currently in danger, the jardinis are quite agressive when they grow up and the tiger shovelnose will eat your bgk whole.
