Hello everyone! I'm an italian boy and i'm a newbie in this hobby.I have an unused tank at home (100x30x40h,120 liters ).I really love this fish ,can i use this tank for keeping one E.erythrinus? which setup requires this species?
Thank you! :)

It has been said that they can be kept in a 40 gallon breeder if kept alone. If you plan for any tank mates choose wisely as wolf fish can/are very aggressive towards anything they think is prey. The tank you have will do fine for just one of these guys by themselves but you will also have to get a larger tank if you want other fish. The Red Wolf fish (erythrinus erythrinus) is on my list of future wet pets!

Hi,thank you for the timely answer! Yes, I would keep only one fish in this tank..so it's okay? :D

Yes. For just that one fish.

Ok,thank you Red_Man! :) ,another one question..this species need a lot of plants or a minimal setup?

Minimal setup is fine.

Yes. For just that one fish.
I disagree. I have 2 of the baddest wolf fish in a community tank with no problems at all. A 10" & 6" Cupuria. You would think they are guppies, they are so mild.

;) It is known the temperament can go either way.
