actually the hood isn't ready and i hadn't thought of making a new tank but then i saw my jar which is 10" and the lfs owner told that the gars are 3-4" and then i knew i had to make a new one
for a few days might be busy with college work so they have a mattress for a hood for the time being
yup haven't put any hiding places in the tank wanted to get some rocks to make some caves, but that might take some while
anyways
here is a pic

This is common for newly introduced polys, especially juveniles. :D

Floating plants are recommended for this purpose, but they're not a must have.

sens do regularly float around at the surface.
even with hiding places.
its usually during the day.
im pretty sure everyone with sens see them doing this.

Yup like Cohazard said I have a Juvie Sen that stays at the top. I thought he had a messed up swim bladder until I same him diving for black worms with no problem. Threw in a couple of plants to just float and he is happy and hangs out there most of the time.

I am looking at mine right now doing the samething and he is almost a year old and 7".
Don't worry. NO HOOD OR LIGHTING I SEE
