Hey guys, a friend of mine from Montreal just bought three, 3-spotted snakeheads and i was wondering what the ideal water conditions are for them to breed in. If anyone has any other information on these guys it is also welcome here. Thanks!
it is more than likely to be a C. pleurophthalma but as a juvenial a Channa marulius or common name Bullseye Snakehead or Great snakehead this is a pic of a Juvenil but lets hope it is not as he is a big boy geting to 1m in length the problem with a lot of snakheads is the juvenial is not like the adult look at C. pleurophthalma now look at the adult Channa marulius the 2nd pic is adult and as i said has more than 3 spots realy need a picsqratch said:hey,
the c. marulius doesn't have 4 it only has one spot on its taill. They have 4 or 5 stripes down their body. I think what you friend got was a C. pleurophthalma
